Optimism and Thanksgiving

I’ve heard from a few folks that there are those who perceive my recent blog posts to be very negative ones.  That was not the spirit behind them at all.  I’m sorry if I gave off that impression.

When it comes to what I do – which is invest in seed stage companies in the Northeast, I’m very optimistic.  I’m ridiculously optimistic about Boston – I actually can’t imagine a better place to be doing this given the wealth of talent and innovation in this region.  I’m also floored by the volume of great stuff happening in New York, and think that the NYC tech community will continue to go from strength to strength as well.

Best of all, it’s an inspiration to be able to work with entrepreneurs day after day to help build transformative companies.  What a privilege.

Anyway, here’s to a happy thanksgiving for all and a resolution to be more optimistic and constructive in the future.
