Entrepreneurs – If You Are Doing an Online Presentation, CrunchConnect is a No Brainer

Big disclaimer – I am an investor in SalesCrunch.

But those of you who read my blog know that I don’t really promote our portfolio companies very much.  But this product is too relevant and useful to ignore.

Entrepreneurs, if you have ever done an online meeting with a prospective investor or customer, how often have these three problems occured?

1. Taking 10 minutes+ just to get the meeting started because of technical issues with GoToMeeting or another provider requiring a download?

2. Presenting your heart out while you suspect the person on the other end is probably just checking out scores on ESPN

3. Being asked to “send me a deck” and then having no idea whether it was even opened (or worse, having it opened by someone else that it was not intended for?)

Well, these three things happen ALL THE TIME!  But CrunchConnect adresses all of these challenges!

First, you can set up a meeting in 3 clicks. And then send a link to the person on the other end. You can walk through slides and even do screen share with NO DOWNLOAD REQUIRED!  It just works.

Second, you get alerted during the meeting when the person on the other end is not paying attention. A few times, I’ve sheepishly had to admit to SalesCrunch’s CEO, Sean, that I was indeed not following along.  Strong are some of my bad habits.

Finally, instead of sending decks into the ether, you can send a CrunchConnect link to recipient and track whether it is opened, for how long, and how many times. You can believe that when I get a deck from Sean, I am sure to read it.  After all, he is watching.

The product has a whole bunch of other features that are useful for larger teams to track the performance and trends across multiple individuals.  Growing companies like Jive Software, SecondMarket, and ContextWeb use it, but I think these features are no less than magical for even the solo entrepreneur who is pouring their hearts out and hoping to be heard.  Check it out!
