My friend David Balter wrote an excellent piece for Inc Magazine about his leadership at BzzAgent and how his hubris nearly sunk the company. It’s an awesome piece that’s worth reading.

To continue to spur on the discussion that came out of his article, he launched the Humility Imperative which is a fun, crowdsourced blog and art project around stories of humility and arrogance.  It’s a lot of fun, and it’s just getting started, so definitely contribute something!

The cool part is that each week, two stories are chosen that are turned into small pieces of original art by Seth Minkin.  I was really pleased to find that my stories were actually selected this week!  The art pieces kind of speak for themselves, but check out www.humilityimperative.com to see more and read the stories behind them.  Yes, that is supposed to be me below, but I was not wearing a suit (but I was sitting next to vomit).
